Where is Kipingi ?
Our water project is in Kipingi, Kenya
in western Kenya, near the shore of Lake Victoria, a mile or so southwest of Migori

What sems like long ago, nearly 6 years now, the North New Jersey chapter of Engineers Without Borders adoted a project to bring a clean water supply to the Kipingi Villagers.
In March of 2009 the travel group visited the site to meet the people and various associated orginizations.
Following that, a detailed design was done and incorporated into an Engineers Without Borders project implementation proposal, and was approved by the EWB Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).
With almost everything just about lined up, we are ready to GO AND DO IT !
